New Perspectives Pole and Aerial

Class Descriptions

Intro to Pole

Come learn the basics of pole! Learn spins, basic floorwork, and how to move around the pole in this class. We recommend this class be taken 3-6 times before advancing.

Pole Level 1

In this class you will expand on the spins you already know and start learning basic climbing technique. You will also start putting skills you know together in simple flows and routines. Instructor Approval needed.

Pole Level 2

In this class, you will learn even more complex and combined spins. You will also start to learn tricks up on the pole and begin basic inversions. You will learn to string moves together in basic flows, including some on the pole. Spin pole will be introduced at this level Instructor Approval needed.

Pole Level 3

In this class, you will start to learn more complex inversions and holds. You will also begin inverting in the air in this level. You will begin creating your own combos and flows with moves you are taught. Instructor Approval needed.

Open Level Pole

In this class, you work on progressing what you already know. Skills will be adjusted to level of the participants in the class. Open to any student who has completed Intro to Pole.

Pole Dance

Come and learn how to dance with the pole! You will be taught a short choreographed routine where you will learn to string spins and floorwork together fluidly and effortlessly.

Intro to Aerials

This class will teach you the basics of both aerial silks and lyra. Learn basic terminology and skills.

Flexibility

Improve your flexibility today! Flexibility is important to keep your body and joints and healthy for the demands of any sport, including aerial work. Use this class to relax the tension out of your body or gain the flexibility for high level moves.

Pole/Aerial Conditioning

Come to build strength for your next move or to just get in shape! We will work on strengthing the entire body. You must have completed intro to pole or intro to aerials to participate in this class.

Floor Inversions

Learn how to be upside down on the ground! Skills such as headstands, elbow stands, handstands, will be taught. This class is for people who have never been upside down to those who have mastered their handstands. Build on what you already know to take your inversion to a whole new level.
